Computer Labs

VCU provides a variety of computer lab spaces for currently-enrolled students across both campuses.

We recommend that you review each of these spaces to learn more about the technology, equipment, and services provided at each. Not all of these spaces are supported by VCU Technology Services and some may be supported directly by technology personnel within the college/school or department. This may mean that a specific major and/or active affiliation with the group is required to use their space.

This is not an exhaustive list of computer labs available to currently-enrolled students. Please check back often for updates to this page as we continue to list new spaces and provide additional information for spaces that have already been listed.

Monroe Park Campus

On the Monroe Park Campus, there are several open-access computer labs available to currently-enrolled students at VCU.

Although some spaces are open to ALL currently-enrolled VCU students (and some even to the general public), typically, usage of computer labs and makerspaces is for students affiliated with specific programs within a college/school or department.

MCV Campus

On the MCV Campus, there are several open-access computer labs available to currently-enrolled students at VCU although aside from the VCU Health Sciences Library, many of these spaces require an active affiliation with a specific major, college, school, or even department.
